Official page of the Scout Group Saint Alphonse (AESA). Founded on February 4, 1982, we are a group affiliated to the LGS-Lëtzebuerger Guiden with Scouten, the Catholic guide and scout association of Luxembourg. Our group has the particularity of being the only Portuguese-speaking scout group in Luxembourg. AESA or Groupe Saint Alphonse is a non-profit association that seeks to contribute to the education of young people. Based on a value system to help them build a better world in which they play an active and constructive role in society, they feel fulfilled both individually and in teamwork. It is based on the volunteerism of its members and the scouting method created by Robert Baden-Powell that we work every day to make our young people autonomous, attentive, responsible and committed. Scouting activities are based on youth development through an honor-enhancing progress system based on the Promise and the Scout Law. Through the practice of teamwork and outdoor life, it is possible for young people to assume their own growth, becoming an example of fraternity, loyalty, altruism, responsibility, respect and discipline.
