Quercus Consulting (/ˈkwɜːrkəs/; lat. “oak tree”) is a Luxembourg-based boutique leadership development firm, enabling leaders by assisting them in their personal growth and providing tailored support on their daily challenges. Just as an oak that takes decades to become a full-grown tree, leadership is something that grows slowly. Very few people are born leaders but rather grow into inspirational and visionary leaders over time. They need strong roots built on personal values to withstand challenges and live through drawbacks that make them stronger, just as trees that withstand winds, rain showers and hail. Last but not least, leaders are not supposed to only benefit from their teams, they also need to understand the importance of serving their personal and professional environment, similar to the oak tree that with its photosynthesis acts as the lung of our planet and thus contributes to the well-being of our society. We engage in tailoring our services to our clients’ needs and context as we believe that different situations can rarely be solved with the same off-the-shelf solution. We therefore start each engagement with investing in understanding our clients’ environment and challenges. Furthermore, we commit to providing independent advice, adhering to our leadership philosophy and values, challenging our clients in their requests and needs to ensure that we are providing the best possible support on a given challenge. We support our clients on 5 major themes – all built around the theme of sustainable leadership development: Consulting, learning program design, learning program facilitation, coaching and conference talks. We mainly serve mid- to large size private corporations and public organizations on leadership development topics. In terms of industries, we work rather broadly as leadership skills are needed across industries.
